Before Klaatu was formed in 1973, all three of it's members had been in several bands. Some, like Dee's Bloodstone, recorded and released material. Others, like Dee's Polychromatic Experiment, did not.  After Klaatu called it quits in 1982, all of the members have been involved in various projects.

John Woloschuk has not released any solo recordings, but was in a pre-Klaatu band called Whitemail that released a single.  John also was involved with the post-Klaatu recording by Peter Shelley of music for the animated series "Robotman and Friends".  John also has production credits (like the Fly By Night album by Rush) and musician credits (such as bass or keyboards on various recordings, including some by Terry McManus).

Dee Long was involved with the pre-Klaatu band Bloodstone which released a single. Dee was also a producer, engineer, and musician on hundreds, possibly even thousands of recordings throughout the 80s and 90s, and has now released some solo material as well.

Terry Draper was also involved with the pre-Klaatu band Whitemail and is on their single.  He also has produced, engineered, played instruments on various other artists recordings.  He recorded songs with a number of post-Klaatu acts, but none got released.  In the late 90s he released a solo album and has since released a few more CDs of material.

It's important to remember that NONE of this material is by Klaatu.  With that being said, this material is great and worth checking out, if for nothing else than to give you an idea of the direction their individual talents took them while leading up to Klaatu and what direction they continued to develop in after Klaatu broke up.

Many of these recordings are available on CD, some are not. Those that are not are getting harder and harder to find. The most difficult to find is the Whitemail single. The Bloodstone single comes in a close second, though, when it comes to difficulty tracking down a copy.

This listing is NOT to be considered exhaustive, but as we become aware of other material, or as new material gets released, this page will be updated as time permits. I've attempted to break this listing down by individual Klaatu member, but in some instances a recording involves more than one member of the band, and as such is listed under more than one of them. It's not to be considered a separate release in those instances, but instead is listed for completeness.
