The original title for this song
was "The Great San Andreas Misfortune".
This recording marks several "Klaatu" firsts. Here are four of them:
1. In Canada, this was Klaatu's first record release on Daffodil
Records. (the two previous singles had been released on GRT Records).
2. This was the first Klaatu record to be released in the U.S.A.,
as well as being their first and only release on the Island Records
label.
3. The U.S. release produced Klaatu's first ever review in
Billboard magazine which read: "Good record with the California sound
and fine harmony vocals."
4. This track was the first to feature the lovely singing voice
of talented session vocalist, Laurie Hood. She also sang backup vocals
on "Juicy Lucy".
