Remarks:
On September 20, 1974 the rhythm section for this track (consisting of drums, electric guitar and amplified bass) was recorded live "off the floor" in an empty storage room at Toronto Sound Studios.

The guitar sound used in the instrumental bridge was produced by combining two separate performances of the guitar solo recorded with the tape running "backwards" on the 16-track deck.

This version was never released commercially but was used for the October 5, 1974 taping of Klaatu's guest appearance on the CBC's "Music Machine" television program which first aired in November 1974.

A slightly different version (remixed in March 1975 with percussion instruments added) was issued as Klaatu's fourth (Canadian) single and later would appear on their debut album and, except for some minor differences, is exactly similar to this television mix version.
