Remarks: |
The basic rhythm section for
this track consisted of drums, bass guitar (Spectre) and an electric
guitar (Fender Stratocaster). The Wurlitzer electric piano on this track was routed through a Leslie speaker rotating at slow speed to produce a "Doppler"-like effect. This track featured guest appearances by some of Toronto's finest studio musicians at that time: - the saxophone solo was performed by John Johnson; - the conga was played by percussionist, Memo Acevedo; and - the string arrangements were composed by Jack Lenz and performed by the sibling trio of Adele, Paul and Dick Armin. This track was selected by Capitol Records of Canada to be the "A" side of the first of three singles released from the "Magentalane" album. |
